Beautiful days!

We have been enjoying some gorgeous Pacific Northwest weather the past few days. It's supposed to get to 70 degrees today and, for us, that's pretty warm. On this past Saturday, we took the three girls to Westport and played at the beach. We were, rather belatedly, celebrating Auntie Stephanie and Grams' birthdays. The girls had a blast. Lynlea would have stayed out there all day if we had let her. What is it about kids and the beach? :) It's a perfect combination. Aside from a few snafus, like when I dropped our new video camera into the ocean and it was swept out to sea (do these things happen to other people?), we had a great time. We got some great pictures of everyone playing in the sand!

Lynlea and Chloe love to "out yell" each other. It gets pretty loud at dinnertime :).

Bryn finished the second day of his new position and so far is very excited about this job! I think it will be a challenge and I firmly believe he's up for it. He has so much potential and a great capacity for helping people. I hope that this position gives him an outlet for that. He seems to enjoy his supervisors as well, which is always helpful. I know the girls have been so excited to see him every night for dinner, which is a pleasure. Lynlea doesn't quite trust the situation yet, I think she's afraid that he'll leave again. I'm sure she will get used to it in time.
We all wished Grams a very Happy Birthday today and Lynlea was delighted to help pick her out a present. We got her a kneeling pad for the garden, although Lynlea thought it was a surfboard and thought that it made a great gift! :)

Just a couple of recent pictures. The girls love to read with Grandaddy! The other picture is from Woodland Park Zoo. We took the girls last week. Chloe loved the lion and made lots of roaring noises to anyone who walked by. :)
